Wisdom Teeth Removal... This won't be pretty

Heres to hoping I won't look like that.
Heads up! There is A LOT of writing! lol Just skim if you want.

An oral and maxillofacial surgeon or your dentist can remove (extract) a wisdom tooth. The procedure often can be done in the dentist's or surgeon's office. You may have the surgery in the hospital, especially if you are having all your wisdom teeth pulled at one time or if you are at high risk for complications.

If you have any infections, surgery will usually be delayed until the infection has cleared up. Your doctor or dentist may have you take antibiotics to help heal the infection.

((Yep yep that's what happened to me I had JUST caught a cold... I was sent home, and now I get to come back.... 2 weeks later. lol))

Now this doesn't sound SOOOO bad... But, then again there is ALWAYS the bad side to the good.

Risks

After a wisdom tooth is removed, you may experience:

• Pain and swelling in your gums and tooth socket where the tooth was removed.
• Bleeding that won't stop for about 24 hours.
• Difficulty with or pain from opening your jaw (trismus).
• Slow-healing gums.
• Damage to existing dental work, such as crowns or bridges, or to roots of a nearby tooth.
• A painful inflammation called dry socket, which happens if the protective blood clot is lost too soon.
• Numbness in your mouth and lips after the local anesthetic wears off, due to injury or inflammation of nerves in the jaw.
• Rare side effects, including:
  • Numbness in the mouth or lips that does not go away.¹
  • A fractured jaw if the tooth was firmly attached to the jaw bone.
  • An opening into the sinus cavity when a wisdom tooth is removed from the upper jaw.

Dental surgery may cause bacteria in the mouth to enter the bloodstream and cause infections in other parts of the body. People who have difficulty fighting off infections may need to take antibiotics before and after dental surgery. Such people include those who have artificial heart valves or were born with heart defects.

Anesthetic (local and/or general) almost always is used during the extraction procedure. All surgeries, including oral surgery, that use general anesthetic have a small risk of death or other complications.

What To Think About

If your wisdom teeth are not causing problems, it may be difficult to decide whether to have your wisdom teeth removed to prevent possible dental problems later in life. Consider the following:

• You may never have any problems with your wisdom teeth.
• It is rarely harmful to your health to have your wisdom teeth removed, but there are slight risks involved with any surgery.
• In younger people (late teens and early 20s), the wisdom tooth's roots are not fully developed and the jaw bone is not as dense, so it is easier to remove the tooth. The easier it is to remove the tooth, the easier your recovery is likely to be.
• Most problems with wisdom teeth develop between the ages of 15 and 25.
• If you are older than age 30, you have only a small risk of having problems with your wisdom teeth. Few people older than 30 develop problems that require removal of their wisdom teeth.
• Medical insurance does not always cover this procedure.
• If you have a medical condition that may get worse over time and your teeth may cause problems, consider having your wisdom teeth removed while you are healthy.
• Possible complications include dry socket (alveolar osteitis), infection, bleeding, and numbness, but the overall chance of complications is less than 2% (2 in 100 people). The risk is slightly higher if you have wisdom teeth removed from the lower jaw than from the upper jaw.²

Women who decide to have their wisdom teeth removed should try to schedule the surgery for the end of their menstrual cycle (usually days 23 through 28). There seems to be less risk of dry socket during this time.³

I am thankful for everything GOD has made. Even if it kills, everything in this world has a meaning in life and a meaning to him. So if it's here then I'll say thank you for it... even if it scares the life out of me (sharks, snakes, deep dark water, shallow dark water... etc.)

Either way. I love what I have and I am truly thankful for it all.

As for how dinner is going to work out for Thanksgiving.

Gavin and I will be watching the movie with You guys Narice, and then having dinner with Grandma and the gang.

Speechless

So the party was last night right... well I was blessed to have two parties that night. 1 at mom's and 1 at the YMCA where I am proud to say I scared the living day lights out of TONS of kids. I and known as the "Skinny white boy" yes yes yes I know I am a girl. But when ever someone saw me and the mask they would all as me
"HEY! Where is the White boy that was wearing that?! I want to see him."

((Mind you I was wearing the whole outfit just not the mask.))
I'd look at them confused and would tell them "I am a girl and I wore the mask."
they'd look at me confused and then at their guy friends and look back at me... think about this then say.... AGAIN! "Where is the skinny white boy that wore the mask!?!?!"

((I almost threw them in the pool... they got lucky when the managers would come up and ask me what they were talking about and I would just shrug to them and leave. heh))

But I MUST tell you how the last 3 days of sleeping have gone for me.

Friday:
Went to bed on Friday at 2:50 a.m.

Saturday:
Wake up on Saturday at 7:35 a.m.
-worked a maze
-scare kids during a hunt for candy
-clean up the maze
Go to bed at 4:50.

Sunday:
Wake up at 9:00


and here I am. Sure I did TONS of stuff between all that but you know... When I'm saying tons... I really mean TONS.

There was more to Saturday night i would like to tell you about but as for now I have to go to work. So bye bye

A dream

is just a dream right? I have had some dreams about a Mare. Who always seems to be mine. I'm the one to take care of her, feed her, and love her. But I can only do it every three days. Never every day. I worry about her each day I miss with her. But no matter what when I show up in 3 days she is there loving me, and forgiving me. It's like she knows I can't make it but, doesn't care that I can only come one day. I never ride her. I never walk her. I only feed her, and groom her. So this worries me that I not doing something I am supposed to do. And I'm not doing it. The Mare down bellow looks a lot like her. But her filly looks SO much like her it's scary. I haven't dreamt about her in a month or two and randomly one night. I have a dream about her. I hadn't visited in over a month this time. I was in tears when I ran to her. Hugging her boney neck, and grooming her half starved body... But, no matter what she kept loving me and nudging me as if nothing was wrong.

I'm really worried that I'm supposed to be caring for an animal I don't have. The Mare's name is Barbie; her baby doesn't have a name. But I'm wondering if I'm supposed to have them. I really think I'm supposed to have a horse a horse in need of help. These two horses have until the end of November then they are sent to action where they will most likely be separated and sent of to be fattened and killed for human consumption. This next mare down bellow reminds me of a Mustang I wanted to adopt. So badly; I cried the day I found out that she was adopted. So when I saw this mare my heart began to ace for her. She is an amazing horse. Just looking at this picture you could tell that she it something really special. This next Mare is not the same one as the Mare above. She is a shade darker than her. Either way this is what she looks like.
The really sad part is. These Mares are all bound for Auction at the end of November. And, they all live in Canada. I don't really know what to think of the dreams about the Mare.

Should I just brush it off? like Gavin said?
Or actually go on a hunt for a Mare I had a dream about?

Hungry?

LET'S EAT! My Aunt has reminded me that the Scary dinner was coming up. So I searched for a few things that might be good to eat. After all; it is Halloween.












Tongue was looking mighty tempting for a while. I've heard it can be good. If you use the right stuff. Why not add some of those worms? Or one of those flying bugs. Let's make it crunch (No. I don't know the names of those bugs at the moment.)

But then as I thought about it. I wanted to do something REALLY good for this dinner. Creep them out SO bad they would talk about it for years to come.

Sure the tongue was gross and the bugs were nasty. But I'm not able to pull myself to

touch those things.

So I started to search for an old recipe my Grandma Roth gave me.

As I dug for it I found a missing shoe, candy, my ear phones to my laptop, film, and tons more things.

Then I rememberd that it wasn't where I was looking. So I went to the Kitchen and found it right where the cat left it.
