Get a counter. I used to think that only three people ever read my blog ... but then I got a counter and it said like 15 - 25 people had looked at my blog that day, and I was all: "I KNOW that counter is wrong!" But it encouraged me to do more posts and to put more work into them because I knew that people were looking at my blog and reading it ... they were just lurkers who were not posting comments ... and they are welcome to not post comments, although I do enjoy comments ... I just didn't know that I had readers when they weren't commenters as well.
So ... I advise you to add a counter. I'll bet you have more people than you know stopping by. And go and visit my friends and say hello and they will probably begin doing the same for you. Especially if you keep your posts short and edit them for accuracy.
